Chapter Philanthropy
Kappa Kappa Gamma hosts an annual golf tournament, Kappa Klassic, to raise awareness and money for St. Jude Dream Day Foundation. Last fall, the tournament was during our fall Parents Weekend to encourage family participation. The 2016 Kappa Klassic brought in 256 golfers and raised over $50,000 for the Dream Day Foundation. This foundation organizes and hosts a fun-filled day in Louisiana for the families and patients of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Activities for the day include fishing, helicopter rides, a petting zoo, face painting, and various carnival-like games.
